This Privacy Policy explains what data DailyJokes (“the app”, “we”, “our”) accesses, why, and how it is used. DailyJokes is operated by Roantree Developments (“the developer”).
What DailyJokes does
DailyJokes is an automated service that generates a short video from a joke and publishes it to YouTube on a daily schedule.
Google user data we access
DailyJokes connects to a single YouTube channel, owned and operated by the developer, using the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API. We request the following permissions:

We only use this access to operate and improve the DailyJokes channel itself. We do not access, read, or modify any other YouTube channel or account, and we do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to publishing and reporting on our own content.
Data we do not collect
DailyJokes does not have user accounts, does not collect data from viewers of its videos, and does not use cookies or tracking on this website. The only Google user data involved is the developer’s own YouTube channel data, described above.
How Google user data is stored and retained
Authentication tokens are stored securely on the server that runs DailyJokes and are used only to make the API calls described above. We retain this data only for as long as the app is actively operating. If you have questions about a specific retention period or would like data deleted, contact us using the details below.
Sharing of data
We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties. Google user data is not used to train or fine-tune any AI/ML model.
Google API Services User Data Policy
DailyJokes’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Material changes to how Google user data is used will also be reflected in our OAuth consent screen configuration.
